Former Pakistan batsman Mohsin Khan has slammed the Pakistani batsmen for their attitude against the Aussies, in the first Test match at the Gabba, Brisbane.
"The team's performance on the first two days has been very poor," said Mohsin Khan, reported The Express Tribune.
Mohsin on Friday said Pakistans dismal show against one the top Test playing nations, is due to the Fear the batsmen have failed to get over with.
"Pakistan entered the match fearing the opposition. You just cannot adopt a defensive strategy against Australia who love to play aggressive cricket. If you do that they will eat you up and this is what we have witnessed in Brisbane," added the former Pakistan coach.
Pakistan batting lineup collapse in the first inning, after they lost 8 wickets for 67 runs, the team ended up with 142 runs after a late fight back by wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed and Muhmmad Amir.
Australia, capitalizing on their first inning domination added 202 in their second inning, setting up a daunting target of 490 runs for Pakistan.
