imageFAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has issued shutdown programme for Thursday due to necessary repair, maintenance and expansion of electricity lines.

According to the programme issued by the company here Wednesday, power supply from Firdous, HSM, Lahore Road, RSM, UET, Nimra, Gohar and Ahmad Jamal feeders emanating from 132-KV Khurarianwala grid station will remain suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. while Chaudhary Wala, Khurarianwala (FSM), Niagra Mill, Interloop-6, New MK Sons and Best Export feeders originating from 132-KV Khurarianwala grid station will observe shutdown from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon on Thursday (March 17).

Similarly, electricity supply from Mureedwala feeder emanating from 132-KV Mureed Wala grid station will remain suspended from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, whereas Sufi Di Kothi, Lundianwala, Muneer Shaheed and Namdar feeders originating from 132-KV Lundianwala grid station; Malik Abad, Kamal Fabrics, Al-Khaliq, Mansoor Wala, Al-Fareed and Kamal Spinning feeders emanating from 132-KV Thikriwala grid station; SOS Village feeder originating from 132-KV Nishatabad grid station; Jail Road feeder emanating from 220-KV Jaranwala Road grid station; Katchery Road feeder originating from 132-KV Jaranwala grid station; Jhang Road and Shah Burhan feeders emanating from 132-KV Chiniot grid station; Mangoana and Ahmad Nagar feeders originating from 132-KV Bhowana grid station and University Town feeder emanating from 132-KV Chiniot Road grid station will observe load shedding from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, on March 17.

Meanwhile, power supply from FSM, Sultan Nagar, Scarp-I, Scarp-II, Parco, Sadaqat, Darul Ehsan and Sadaqat Kamal feeders originating from 132-KV Chak Jhumra grid station; Noorpur and Muslim Town feeders emanating from 132-KV Chiniot Road grid station; Meema, Rafiq Cotton, Bilal and Kohistan feeders originating from 132-KV Shahkot grid station; Johal and F-5 feeders emanating from 132-KV Bandala grid station and New Sabzi Mandi feeder originating from 132-KV Thikriwala grid station will also remain suspended from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, on Thursday (March 17, 2016).
