Mobilink, one of the largest mobile operators in Pakistan has signed a partnership agreement with the American car hailing app, Uber.
According to local media reports, a number of services will be provided to facilitate the customers of the US-based transport company all over Pakistan. In the first phase, voice and data services along with Wi-Fi in Uber branded cars have been rolled out by Mobilink.
“We are thrilled to have joined hands with Uber in assisting them to cater to the transportation needs of our country through new innovative solutions,” said Azfar Manzoor, Mobilink VP Business Services.
The strategic partnership is expected to accelerate the pace of digitization in Pakistan.
