Qadir Shah assumes charge of PEC Chairman

pecISLAMABAD: Engineer Syed Abdul Qadir Shah has assumed the charge of Chairman Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) here.

Shah replaced Engineer Rukhsana Zuberi, whose tenure ended on August 10, 2011, said a press statement by the Council.

He joined the office of chairman after a notification by the Prime Minister, it said adding Shah is a senior engineer and belongs to Sukkur, the press statement added.

While assuming the charges, Engineer Shah expressed the hope that PEC will bring efficiency in its services for the betterment of engineers as well as the whole engineering sector in Pakistan.
