ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi said on Monday that country's economy suffered a loss of Rs.65 billion due to the ongoing international war on terror.
Similarly devastating floods massively damaged the national economy he said this while addressing a function held to celebrate Independence Day here at a local hotel of D.I.Khan.
The function was organized by the Anjuman Tajran Sharqi Ciruclar Road.The Deputy Speaker said that precious resources of the country are being utilized in the war against terror therefore the international community should raise to the occasion and helped Pakistan in meeting the challenges in effective manner.
Kundi said that people could hold accountability of the government.He expressed the confidence that people of D.I Khan would celebrate next Jashn-e-Azadi in the Sairki province.
