KANDAHAR: Three people were killed and six others wounded Monday in an attack on a contractor's compound near a huge foreign military base in Kandahar, southern Afghanistan, the governor's spokesman said.
Zalmai Ayubi spoke after police and the military said three suicide bombers had tried to storm the compound belonging to Supreme Global Services, a logistics company which works with the international military.
