supreme-court-of-pakistanISLAMABAD: The registrar office of the Supreme Court has returned a constitutional petition seeking apex Court's intervention over recent killing incidents in Karachi by saying that it is not entertainable on certain grounds.

The constitutional petition was moved by Shahid Orakzai, a freelance journalist, under Article 184 (3) of the Constitution and the registrar office returned it by placing objections.

The office told the petitioner that his fundamental rights as guaranteed by law, had not been violated therefore, he had no locus standi to persuade the Court to entertain the petition.

The Office also objected to multifarious prayers made in his plea.

The petitioner was asked to approach the proper forum for redressal of his grievances.
