athar_abbasRAWALPINDI: Director General, ISPR, Maj. Gen. Athar Abbas while talking to a local news agency said on Saturday that visit of Director General, ISI, Ahmed Shujaa Pasha was to discuss intelligence, coordination, and it had nothing to do with the resumption of US Military aid.

This matter was not even on the agenda of the visit, he added.

He further said that the DG ISI had one on one meeting with the Acting Director, CIA Michael Morrel.

He said that range of intelligence issues were discussed in a congenial environment to improve mutual understanding.

Contrary to the speculative reporting in a section of the press, neither there were doubts raised nor aspersions cast on the functioning of ISI. Both sides focused more on the way forward, he added.
