America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon wore a pair of diamond encrusted loafers worth $2 million for the show’s finale on Wednesday. The presenter showed off the $2 million footwear in a picture posted by a foreign magazine on Instagram.
According to media reports, the shoes were created by jewellery designer Jason Arasheben, founder of Jason of Beverly Hills, and have more than 14,000 full-cut round white diamonds set onto white gold, totaling 340 carats.
“When Nick approached me last year, he said he wanted to make history and be so over-the-top. He wanted to set a new standard in diamonds. ‘How can we make the most expensive pair of shoes in the world and make this finale special?’ he asked me,” said the shoe maker in a media interview.
The most expensive and exclusive shoes are now been considered by Guinness Book of World Records officials to be named as ‘World’s most valuable pair of shoes’.
