KARACHI: Lead guitarist and member of Pakistani band Haider Hashmi passed away. The 40 year old musician was diagnosed with brain tumor a couple of weeks untimely and was quickly scheduled for a brain surgery.
According to media sources he was doing well after the surgery and had been interacting with his friends and family until he complains about breathlessness.
According to local media his friend and bassist of Aaroh band Khalid Khan reportedly said, “I spoke to him a while back and everything was fine until his son called me to inform that he is having difficulty in breathing and is being rushed to the hospital, and after a while heard the sad news”.
