ISLAMABAD: Analyst Rauf Tahir has said that the government has initiated various power projects to overcome energy crisis in the country.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said the government is devising policies keeping in view energy requirements of the country.
He said the government has initiated various short-term and long-term energy projects.
Talking about performance of Pakistan Railways, he said that Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique is making untiring efforts to infuse new life in Pakistan Railways.
He said Pakistan Railways will earn billions of rupees as revenue through transportation of coal for six coal based power projects in Punjab.
Rauf Tahir said that PML-N government introduced a new political culture in the country by recognizing the mandate of other political parties in other provinces.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is taking political leadership onboard while taking decisions on national issues.
Analyst Maqbool Elahi Malik also said that link between China and Gwadar Port will be important feature of Pak-China Economic Corridor Project.
He said energy related projects are top priority of the government.
He said a new city is likely to be set up at Gwadar to make the port operational.
He said government approved strategically important Lahore-Karachi Motorway Project as well as rail links between different cities which will play a key role in progress of the people.
