KARACHI: Pakistan Petroleum and CNG Dealers Association (P&CNGDA) on Thursday appreciated campaign currently underway against illegal and unauthorized petrol pumps and CNG stations in the country.
Chairman PDA and CNG Dealers association, Abdul Sami Khan said demolition of these stations are needed as they are causing heavy financial loss to the exchequer through evasion of required taxes and revenue.
He said that members of the two associations are striving hard to contain the practice and come hard on the strong mafia engaged in the illegal business.
He requested the authorities concerned to continue with their crackdown against unscrupulous elements related to petroleum and CNG business causing immense loss to the national economy.
Khan said these efforts must be complimented by steps to discourage others from adopting illegal practices.
