KARACHI: Three ships arrived at Port Qasim to load/ offload containers at QICT, coke at MW - III, chemical at EVTL on Saturday, Port sources said here Sunday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 64% at the Port on Saturday where a total of nine ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey- Powership, M.V White Hawk, M.V Maple Crown, M.V Conti L.A Pislazuli, M.T Al Soor- II, M.T Atlantic Glory, M.V Didem, M.V Annamaria, M.V Thor Harmony are currently occupying berths to load/ offload, containers, cement, coke, diesel oil, chemical, fertiliser, wheat.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume of 76083 tonnes comprising 39391 tonnes import, 36692 tonnes export and (2146) Tues was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M.T Semua Perdana at EVTL, M.V Juli Delmas at QICT, M.V Hartland Point at QICT arrived on Sunday, port sources further said.
