LAHORE: All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) on Thursday launched country wide protest against non-availability and discriminatory distribution of CNG.
APCNGA staged a protest demonstration here at Thokar Niaz Baig led by APCNGA supreme council president Ghayas Abdullah Paracha and provincial president APCNGA Capt (r) Shuja.
The protesters held placards and banners and chanted slogans in favour of their demands.
Addressing on the occasion, Ghayas Abdullah Paracha said they reservations of the owners of gas stations were not taken into consideration while fixing CNG rates.
He said that the current stance for the CNG sector was also affecting millions of commuters,largely common people.
APCNGA chairman Ghayas Paracha wondered why there was no gas available to domestic consumers when the CNG stations were shutdown for the last many days.
He demanded immediate steps for making distribution of gas in a transparent manner.
