MUMBAI: Indian federal bond yields extended their fall on Monday afternoon following a lower-than-expected net borrowing amount announced in the federal budget for the next fiscal year.
At 12:47 p.m. (0717 GMT), the most-traded 8.13 percent, 2022 bond yield extended its fall by another 4 basis points to 8.05 percent from before the borrowing number was announced. It had closed at 8.13 percent on Friday.
