Amid the rising tension between Pakistan and India, a complete ban has been announced by India on Pakistani artistes. Actor Salman Khan has now reportedly dropped Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s song from his next production venture ‘Notebook.

“Salman Khan has asked his production house Salman Khan Films to replace Atif Aslam song from Notebook,” according to Indian media reports. As per the Pinkvilla report, no new singer has been roped in to replace Atif yet but it will reportedly be re-recorded in just a few days.

Produced by Salman Khan Films, ‘Notebook’ will mark the Bollywood debuts of Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan and newcomer Zaheer Iqbal.

Atif’s recent single Baarishein, also featuring Bollywood actor Nushrat Bharucha, has been taken down by T-Series from YouTube. Atif has sung many songs for Salman Khan’s film including ‘Main Agar’ from ‘Tubelight’, ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ from ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Selfish’ from ‘Race 3’ and ‘Tu Chahiye’ from ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
