Is Mahira the reason why Ranbir being forced into arranged marriage?

After ending his six year relationship with ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif, Ranbir pretty much spent the last year alone until pictures of him smoking with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan out on a New York street surfaced on internet. However, now rumors are making rounds that Ranbir might just be getting married soon in an arranged set-up.

Indian tabloids are speculating that Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor is upset with his link up rumors with Mahira and is wanting her son to marry in an arrange set-up as soon as possible. Mumbai Mirror has reported that Neetu is trying hard in getting Ranbir to settle down quickly.

No more romance for Ranbir Kapoor

However, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ actor has apparently refused to his mother’s demands. It was reported earlier that Ranbir and Neetu visited a NRI family in London for a possible proposal.

Earlier, while speaking abut son’s wedding plans, Rishi Kapoor said, “Ranbir is having a terrific time with all the success and the money he's got and age being in his favour too. Why does he have to get married and spoil it all so soon? Shaadi ke liye bahut time hai abhi usko [He has got enough time in hand to get married]. Let him have a nice time right now."

On work front, Ranbir is currently working on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic and has also started his training for his next Karan Johar’s movie ‘Brahmastra’ opposite Alia Bhatt.
