Wasim Akram slams PCB yet again
Pakistan bowling legend Wasim Akram has yet slammed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for not paying attention to the domestic cricket structure.
"PCB is copying the player draft idea everywhere in domestic cricket without thinking about it carefully," said Akram, while talking to Geo News.
Akram, who has been an active voice in the game since retiring from international cricket added, “It’s been 70 years since the creation of Pakistan, yet we still don’t have a proper structure in domestic and first-class cricket.”
The sultan of swing then went on to praise Pakistan team, for their recent achievements at the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy, “but now we need to perform consistently” added Akram.
This is not the first time Akram has criticize PCB strategies, the former Pakistan captain has earlier questioned PCB’s decisions i.e. having three captains for all three formats, Wasim was in favor of one skipper for all the cricket formats.
