MELBOURNE: Defending champion Kim Clijsters saved four match points in the second set to overwhelm China's Li Na in a dramatic fourth round match at the Australian Open on Sunday.
Clijsters, who rolled her ankle midway through the first set and needed medical treatment, came back from 6-2 down in a second set tiebreak to defeat a shell-shocked Li 4-6, 7-6 (8/6), 6-4.
