KARACHI: Alkhidmat Karachi, in collaboration with Lucky Core Industries (LCI), organized a mega tree plantation drive at Muhammad bin Khaleel Arab Park, North Nazimabad, in connection with World Environment Day, official said on Tuesday. The drive aimed to increase green cover and support a cleaner and healthier environment in Karachi. A large number of student volunteers from colleges and universities, along with organizational staff, participated in the activity.
The campaign was launched by Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureshi and LCI Manager Safety, Health and Environment Zeeshan Iqbal. Saplings were planted and watered, and volunteers spread across different parts of the park to carry out plantation. Participants also committed to looking after the planted trees.
