hina krishna 400TOKYO: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar met S.M. Krishna Minister for External Affairs of India on the sidelines of the Tokyo conference here on Sunday and discussed matters of bilateral interest.

Foreign Minister Khar reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to normalize its relations with India and resolve all outstanding issues through meaningful and result oriented dialogue.

She also noted that terrorism was a common enemy and that the two countries needed to work closely to address this issue.

Foreign Minister Krishna said that the resumed dialogue process between Pakistan and India was progressing well and that it would help better understand each other's perspective.

He also informed Foreign Minister Khar that India was committed to release all those prisoners including fishermen who have served their sentence.

He hoped that the government of Pakistan would consider the request of Sarabjit Singh favorably.

Foreign Minister Krishna informed Foreign Minister Khar that he was looking forward to his visit to Pakistan in near future.
