The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is probing reports of robocalls being made on Election Day, which urged people to stay home and not vote, according to a cybersecurity official.
Facebook said its election center is also tracking other issues such as the actions by supporters of President Donald Trump to surround campaign buses for Democrat Joe Biden.
"You have to have a date, and the date happens to be November 3," he said during a visit to Republican National Committee offices in Arlington, Virginia.
"His pen to God's ears," wrote one Twitter user under a photograph of the signed wall snapped by a reporter traveling with Biden as he courts votes in Pennsylvania on Election Day.
The ballots, which were mailed in, deposited in drop boxes or cast at polling stations ahead of Tuesday, represent more than 72 percent of the total number of ballots cast in the 2016.
