RAWALPINDI: The dead bodies of five soldiers including an officer who came under a snow slide at Sharda (Kel) sector on the Line of Control (LOC) were recovered on Saturday.
According to an ISPR spokesman here, the search and rescue teams have also recovered bodies of four civilians from the snow.
He said that search for remaining missing persons is underway.
It may be mentioned that three soldiers embraced Shahadat when a mud/snow slide triggered in Sharda (Kel) Sector at Line of Control (LOC) on Friday.
Eight soldiers and 10 civilians were also missing after the incident.
