Pakistani pharma Searle appoints chairman
- Also appoints Zubair Razzak Palwala as a member of the Audit Committee
The Searle Company Limited (SEARL) announced key appointments at the company on Wednesday.
The company, in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shared that the Board of Directors, in its meeting held on Wednesday, January 14, had appointed the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.
The listed company informed the PSX that Arshad Anis has been appointed as the chairman of the company with effect from today, January 14, 2026.
“Moreover, the board has also appointed Zubair Razzak Palwala as a member of the Audit Committee in place of Adnan Asdar Ali,” the company said.

SEARL was incorporated in Pakistan as a private limited company in 1965 and was later converted into a public limited company. The principal activity of the company is the manufacturing and sale of pharmaceutical, consumer health and nutritional products.
SEARL is a subsidiary of International Brands (Private) Limited.
