RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The total open interest position at the futures counter decreased by 3.8 percent on week-on-week basis to Rs 1,387 million. On the other hand, the future spreads also declined by 162bps on week-on-week basis to 2.89 percent. Trading activities at the futures counter improved and the average daily volumes increased by 137 percent on week-on-week basis to 6.8 million shares.

 

The top 5 scrips at the futures counter, constituting 68 percent of the total open interest, were POL, FFC, Engro, PSO and NBP.
