KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 16934.73 with a positive change of 42.41 and volume of 41,178,230 shares.

High and Low were 16953.43 and 16873.78 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 68,401,630 shares with 263 total traded companies out of which 149 were up, 97 were down and 17 were unchanged.

Oil and Gas was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,804,900 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 10,515,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 13,453,500 and price per share of 14.01 (0.79), Askari Bank with a volume 6,767,500 of price per share of 17.55 (0.80) and K.E.S.C. with a volume of 6,023,000 and price per share of 5.78 (0.11).

The top three UniLever Pak with price per share of 10500.00 (499.99), National Foods with price per share of 289.00 (5.25) and AL-Abbas Sugur with price share of 103.50 (4.74).

The top three decliners were Murree Brewery with price per share of 121.56 (-4.89), Shahtaj Sugar Mills with price per share of 84.32 (-4.43) and Gadoon Textile with price per share of 116.60 (-4.40).
