LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 1.56 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4076.44 and closed at 4078.00 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.605 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.408 million shares, showing an upward move of 196,700 shares.
While, out of the total 102 active scrips, 18 moved up, 23 shed values and 61 remained equal.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Attock Refinery Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 2.89, Rs. 2.11 and Rs. 1.21 respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited, The Hub Power Company Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company lost their per share value by Re. 0.94, Re. 0.93 and Re. 0.85 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 864,000 shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 477,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 175,000 shares.
