Hong Kong gold closes higher

HONG KONG: Gold ended at $1,421.00-$1,422.00 an ounce in Hong Kong on Wednesday, up from Tuesday's close of $1,418.00-$1,419.00.

It opened at $1,415.70-$1,416.70.
