PM visit result of successful foreign policy

LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party Punjab Finance Secretary Aurang Zeb Barki has said that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's invitation to Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani was result of successful foreign policy of the government.

Talking to the media here on Tuesday, he said the PPP wanted friendly relations with its neighbour, so the Prime Minister had accepted the invitation.

He said the media should not present the match as a war between the two countries, adding that it would be helpful in bringing them closer.

He hoped Pakistan cricket team would not only win the semifinal but also the World Cup.
