Federal government should increase cooperation to overcome Karachi situation

KARACHI: Former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday said that Sindh and Federal Governments through enhanced coordination can effectively handle the law and order situation in the city.

" Both the provincial and federal governments should pre-empt the things and prepare to tackle the situation accordingly, " he said in a media chat at the residence of former federal minister late Iqbal Haider where he had gone to condole his death.

He said the Federal Government would have to increase its assistance to Sindh Government to effectively dealing with Karachi law and order situation.
