BEIRUT: Forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi have resumed attacks on the rebel-held city of Misrata, ending a brief lull in fighting that followed Western air strikes, a resident told Reuters.
"Misrata is under attack, the city and the port area where thousands of workers are there, we don't know whether it's artillery or mortars," the resident, called Saadoun, told Reuters by telephone from the city.
