ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) here Sunday organized a rally in front of Parliament House against the US drone attacks.
A number of JI workers holding banners and placards participated in the rally. They raised slogans against drone attacks.
JI Chief Munawwar Hassan addressing the rally strongly criticized the US rulers. He expressed deep concern over drone attacks in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and termed it against the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
He termed the drone attack not only against international laws but a gross violation of human rights as well.
"Drone attack on a peaceful tribal jirga is condemnable and it is tantamount to an attack on the sovereignty and integrity of the country," he added.
