ISLAMABAD: Hamid Saeed Kazmi handed over to the FIA on another four-day physical remand on Saturday.
The former federal minister was presented before the court of Senior Civil Judge Muhammad Aslam Gondal on Saturday where the FIA requested for a four-day remand to arrest another accuse Ahmed Faiz and recovery of the embezzled money in the Hajj scandal.
During hearing the FIA authorities presented medial report of the former minister in the court stating that he had back ache and was suffering from heart problems as well.
The investigators requested for four more days' physical remand which was accepted by the court. An official of FIA told that bank accounts and property of Kazmi had already been freezed.
The counsel for Kazmi, Sardar Naseer Ahmed Sagheer, requested the court to allow him to meet Kazmi and the court directed the FIA to allow Kazmi to meet counsel. Kazmi will now be produced in the court on March 30.
