MIANWALI: Former Minister of State Malik Imad Khan said on Tuesday that the PPP government was spending millions of rupees for the welfare of people.
Inaugurating a power supply project in Bhangikhel, he said the scheme would cost Rs 4.3 million. "Development projects worth over Rs 20 million are in progress in the area including of Rs 5.5 million water supply and school upgrade schemes," he added.
He said the country could not make progress as it failed to attract foreign investment due to terrorism.
"However, the PPP will overcome all challenges and put the country on path to prosperity," he added.
