KABUL: A suicide bomber killed a policeman and injured five civilians at a checkpoint in Kunduz, northern Afghanistan on Thursday, a local official told AFP.
"At around 8:00 am (0330 GMT), a man wearing a suicide vest walked into a traffic post in the centre of Kunduz city," the head of the local provinicial council, Mahboobullah Mahboob, said.
"One traffic policeman was killed and five civilians were injured in the explosion."
