QUETTA: Train service from Quetta to other parts of the country has been restored after it had been suspended due to the non-availability of fuel, sources in the Pakistan Railways informed here on Friday.

An official in the Pakistan Railways told APP that stock of diesel with the Railways had ended which caused the suspension of train service from Quetta to other parts of the country, adding rail traffic from here has resumed as PSO had supplied ten lakh litters of fuel to railway.

All trains carrying passengers from the provincial metropolis including Jaffar Express, Bolan Mail and Quetta Express destined for KP, Sindh and Punjab had left Quetta on their scheduled time, he added.

Chaman-bound passenger train carrying passengers has also left Quetta.
