KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs 215 to close at Rs 48,942 per 10 grams in the local market Wednesday as its international price rose to $ 1,614 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also decreased by Rs 350 to Rs 57,100.
Silver closed unchanged at Rs 805.71 per 10 grams.
