LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday shed 7.69 points, as the LSE 25-Indux opened with 3,654.10 points and closed at 3,646.41 points.
The markets overall situation, however, corresponded to upward trend as it remained at 2.019 million shares to close against 1.022 million shares thus showing an upward move of 996,500 shares. While, out of the total 84 active scrips 17 moved up, 54 remained equal and 13 shed values.
Abbott Laboratories (Pvt.) Limited, Treet Corporation Limited and Engro Foods Limited were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 6.21, Rs 1.74 and Rs 1.01 respectively.
Lucky Cement Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company and Engro Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.29, Rs 2.20 and Re 0.88 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Maple Leaf Cement Factory with 596,500 shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 297,500 share and D.G.Khan Cemeny Company with 242,000 shares.
