KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers were allotted berths at Qasim International Containers Terminal on Thursday. Meanwhile one more ship scheduled to offload diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours, said a PQA press release.
Berth occupancy was 45% at the Port on Friday where total number of five ships namely MV. Hansa Liberty, Saigon Express, CGM Strauss, MV. Aeolos and AL Khalidia are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 90087 tonnes comprising 56240 tonnes imports and 33847 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1929 Containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
