LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 44.85 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3654.94 and closed at 3699.79 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.914 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.182 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.732 million shares.
While, out of the total 91 active scrips 43 moved up, 43 remained equal and 5 shed values.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company and Cherat Cement Pakistan Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.83, Rs 3.30 and Rs 1.71 respectively.
Kot Addu Power Company, Dawood Hercules Corporation and Pakistan Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.39, Re 0.19 and Re 0.12 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 1.514 million shares, NIB Bank Limited with 1.245 million shares and The Bank of Punjab Limdddited with 469,434 shares.
