LONDON: The euro fell to an 11-1/2 year low against the Swedish crown on Wednesday as the Scandinavian currency benefitted from being seen as a safe haven from the euro zone debt crisis, and market players reported euro selling by a European central bank.
The single currency fell to 8.5233 crowns, its lowest level since December 2000.
