LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 0.65 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3624.99 and closed at 3625.64 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.844 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.058 million shares, showing an downward move of 214,597 shares. While, out of the total 95 active scrips 25 moved up, 56 remained equal and 14 shed values.
Engro Foods Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company and D.G.Khan Cement Company were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.33, Rs 2.02 and Rs 1.91, respectively.
Sui Southern Gas Company Limited, KSB Pumps Company Limited and Bank Alfalah Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.96, Re 0.70 and Re 0.22, respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 688,085 shares, D.G.Khan Cement Company with 301,326 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 118,142 shares.
