DC Faisalabad calls for taking precautionary measures on Eid

A meeting of District Peace Committee was held at DC Office, which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali.
The Deputy Commissioner welcomed the religious scholars and thanked them for their full cooperation in the blessed month of Ramadan. He appealed to take precautionary measures on Eid-ul-Fitr as well.
On this occasion, it was unanimously decided that it should be kept two or three Eid prayer at a spot on different short times for controlling the number of worshipers in mosques, imambargahs and open spaces and people would perform prayer in different times while the worshipers bring ablution and their place of prayer from the house. It was decided that shake hands after Eid and met each other was prohibited and people should also keep a social distance from each other which is in the collective interest, keeping in view the situation, come wearing face masks so that you and others can be protected from Corona Virus.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the scholars to spread the message to take strict precautionary measures because the only way to prevent the corona virus is precaution, so prove to be a responsible citizen. He also praised the ideal peace and government SOPs on Shbe-Qadr and thanked them for cooperation with district administration.
On this occasion, Mufti Muhammad Zia Madani, Syed Muhammad Jaffar Naqvi, Maulana Muhammad Riaz Kharal and others appreciated the steps taken by the administration to prevent the spread of Corona virus and assured all possible cooperation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr prayers. They said that two or three gatherings will be held for which a series of mosque advertisements have also been started.
