Covid-19 pandemic: PSF, HEC to conduct study to ascertain effects on industries: Fawad

Federal Minister for Science and Technology on Wednesday Fawad Chaudhry announced that the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) would carry out a joint study to ascertain the effects of the coronavirus on the Pakistani industries. "Pakistan Science Foundation and the HEC are launching a joint study to ascertain how coronavirus will affect Pakistani industry, which new industries will emerge and which will collapse," said the minister in a tweet. Chaudhry further stated that the HEC, after carrying the study, would then issue guidelines to the universities, in order to bring relevant changes in their degree plans according to the future industry needs.
