KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 14,549.37 points with a positive change of 721.07 and volume of 156,542,550 shares. High and Low were 14,667.63 and 13,828.30 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 30 were up, 0 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 221,865,742 shares. Total companies traded were 353 of which 288 were positive, 56 were negative and 9 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 51,775,951 shares. It was followed by Oil and Gas Marketing Companies with a total traded volume of 31,556,213 shares.
