Jhang: A target of buying 17100 metric tons wheat has been set for the district for which 1710000 gunny bags of 100 kg capacity would be distributed among the growers.
As many as 261000 gunny bags have so far been distributed among 1900 land owners in the district, stated a spokesman of Food Department Jhang on Thursday.
He said wheat procurement was underway at all the 15 procurement centres of the district.
