While all necessary arrangements have been finalized, the former premier Nawaz Sharif is all set to depart for London to receive medical treatment on Tuesday (today).

An air ambulance will arrive here from Qatar on Tuesday to shift him to London. The doctors treating Nawaz has provided necessary medicines to enable him to travel. Nawaz will be accompanied by Shahbaz Sharif, Dr Adnan, Nawaz's younger daughter and daughter-in-law. Nawaz will be shifted to the Harley Street Clinic in London immediately after landing at London. With the flying fuel of 10 hours and two pilots, the air ambulance will be equipped with oxygen cylinders, ventilators, ICU and other medical facilities. Preparations have been completed at Harley Street Clinic for the medical treatment of Nawaz Sharif by his son Hassan Nawaz, sources said.

The PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement that Nawaz Sharif will depart on Tuesday with prayers of 220 million people of Pakistan. "We shall warmly welcome Nawaz Sharif when he returns to Pakistan after recuperating; the government should focus on serving the people instead of getting jealous of Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif," she said.

According to her, the ministers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government are showing stubbornness by wrong interpretation of the Lahore High Court (LHC)'s decision of removing Nawaz Sharif's name from Exit Control List and allowing him to travel abroad for medical treatment without submitting indemnity bond.

She further said that doctors have examined Nawaz Sharif's health and medications are being provided to him for minimising health risks, particularly concerning his blood sugar level and heart disease.
