Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday indicated to continue the 'struggle' till ouster of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and asked his followers to be prepared for the 'plan-B' to be announced after consultation with leadership of rest of the opposition political parties.

"We have promised with the God that sending this 'illegitimate' government is our goal and we will cleanse this country from these 'illegitimate' rulers," he maintained and asked his followers to remain steadfast and wait for the next call.

"If we have once stated that this government is 'illegitimate', no power of this world can force us to recognize an 'illegitimate' government at any cost," he said.

He indicated if the protesters ended it up here in Islamabad after 11 days of sit-in, it will not mean that the 'war' is over. "We are in contact will the leadership of other opposition political parties...wait and get ready for another call, you will have to obey whatsoever decision is made by the leadership. You have to remain on the ground and continue this 'war' till the target is achieved", Maulana further told his supporters.

He said that the time has arrived to hold these rulers accountable, adding that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should fulfill its obligation and hold those accountable 'who have received party funds from Israel and India'. "Getting rid of such rulers is equivalent to getting freedom", he further said.

The JUI-F chief reminded to Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying that during his 2014 sit-in, he had claimed if a few people take to the streets and ask his resignation, he will resign. "Now the whole nation is demanding his resignation, but he is hell-bent not to quit. Now, he has to go", he further maintained, adding: "the government has lost its writ over the country and every segment of the society is on the strike."

He claimed that 'such a huge and peaceful' gathering has never been held in the country's history. He said the entire nation is on one-page and they will never accept the rule of 'injustice' anymore.

"If we have got rid of the British Rule, be sure that today, people in this country are still alive to send the 'agents of Jews' back to their origin", he added.

He stated, "We have to rely on our own resources if we want to make this country economically independent. The country's mountains and seas are rich of resources but we have made this country a slave of IMF, World Bank, ADB and foreign financial institutions."

"The country's economy is run by the agents of IMF today. Where is our independence?...I want to make it clear that these people have not come to enjoy picnics and dancing, but they are here to get the country's respect back, they want to give respect to our institutions, to our military and to the judiciary and want to get the country's economy and defence free from the international pressure," he added.

He further stated: "We are not ready to become slaves and we will also make sure that our institutions are also not slave of anybody else...it is a disgrace for this nation that such rulers were imposed on this country who came through riggings in the polls. All have to play their role within their [constitutional] ambits...we will respect you if you remain in your constitutional limits".

Addressing the crowd, PkMAP chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai maintained that they do not want to lead the country to any anarchy but would remain within the law. "We are going to create a new Pakistan which will ensure rights of everyone living in Pakistan and nobody will be discriminated on the basis of their religion, faith, creed and ethnicity," he added.

He also told the crowd to wait and be prepared for the 'plan-B' when asked by the leadership to come out. "We also request all the parties that we are not here to insult anybody. I also request the judiciary as to whether taking to the streets and speaking for the rule of law is against the law?" he posed a question.

"All those whether general or judge who will go against the Constitution, we will raise against them", he said. "No one is powerful than Pharaoh and Namrood and we all saw the poor of that time made them examples for the rest of the times", he said, adding, "We have decided to send the Pharaoh like rulers back to home and form a parliament which will be center of the policies no matter even Maulana is defeated and Mehmood Khan is defeated in the free, fair and transparent elections".

"We will set that parliament on fire which is a subservient to a colonel...judge Zindabad, general Zindabad, but only those who recognize the Constitution", Achakzai added.

Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro, the JUI-F's leader from Sindh, told the participants that 'plan-B' will be tougher than 'plan-A' and asked the participants if they are ready for the 'sacrifices'.

"Do you know what plan-B is and are you ready for the plan-B? It is going to be tougher than plan-A. You have to be sent to jails and have to pass through hardships and even many children may become orphans...Are the 'Mujahideen' ready to face all these hardship?" Soomro asked the participants, who responded with assent.

Earlier, the JUI-F chief chaired a meeting of the party's central executive committee at his residence to hold consultations about

his 'plan-B' aimed at lockdown, shutter down and blocking major highways and motorways across the country.

Party sources said that the JUI-F provincial leaders sought some time with regard to execution of the 'plan-B', adding that another meeting of the CEC will also be held today (Tuesday) for further deliberations.

Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai also held a separate meeting with the JUI-F chief and held consultations about the future course of action of the 'Azadi March'.

Meanwhile, strict security arrangements were made to avert any untoward incident, as huge deployment of the law enforcement agencies have been made around the protest venue and the capital city.
