Cabinet to appoint Arif as Member Gas today

The federal cabinet which is scheduled to meet on Tuesday (today) will appoint Muhammad Arif as Member Gas, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), well-informed sources told Business Recorder. The Cabinet Division, sources said, has sent a panel of three candidates in the following order (1) Muhammad Arif, (2) Mehmood Jilani and (3) Javed Jadoon.

The Establishment Division will give a detailed report on existing vacancies of CEOs/ MDs in the ministries/division and their attached departments.

The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Division will submit a summary on the nomination of members of the Board of the Authority under Islamabad Healthcare Regulations Act.

The cabinet will consider a summary of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Department Division on prioritized and effective resolution of complaints lodged by overseas Pakistanis through Pakistan Citizen Portal.

The Cabinet Division will give a presentation about the implementation status of cabinet's decisions and public interest initiatives.
