HYDERABAD: A partial strike was observed in urban parts while a shutter down was observed in rural parts of Hyderabad district following a strike call by Jeay Sindh Qaumi Muhaz (JSQM) on Saturday.
The business and shopping activities which witnessed closure earlier on Saturday in Hyderabad City and Latifabad talukas later opened in routine manner. However, the bazars and shopping areas were closed throughout the day in many areas of Qasimabad and Hyderabad Rural talukas.
A police spokesman informed that except some cases of aerial firing late Friday night and early Saturday morning no other untoward incident was reported from any part of the district.
